As the weather has warmed my lavender plants have started to bloom. I've been cutting my lavender flowers to hang and dry to use for my further needs. Perhaps if you can in go on a walk in your area take some scissors with you and a pocket/basket to collect lavender. Be sure to save some for others and the pollinators. Be sure to cut where the stem begins into the flower to leave as long as stem as possible to make it easier to hang upside down when you dry these. Different types of lavender

English Lavender

Scientific name: Lavandula angustifolia Family: Lamiaceae

Kingdom: Plantae

This lavender is most commonly used in cosmetics. Most prefer the taste of this lavender.

Kingdom: Plantae

I have this lavender in my garden I really loved the scalloped leaves they are very pretty and seem to have a light white dusting on them they is makes them fuzzy like sage leaves. Here's a good post explaining the difference between the a couple of different varieties of lavender.

Thanks for reading and let me know how your quarantine is going. Stay healthy and happy !
